1，1997年5月我在香港，在交接仪式那栋大厦里工作了1个星期，做Media Asia国际音像制品博览会的翻译。我在那参加了生平第一个Rave Party；第一次去了HMV，买了4000多元唱片；去看了当时还没推出第一张专辑的Aqua乐队演唱会；半夜爬太平山把鞋子搞丢1只；买了一堆英文书；从4AD公司工作人员那搜刮了一堆免费CD。5月底我就被“驱逐”回来了，因为从6月开始，内地人不得逗留香港。
2，对我这样的懒人来说，长笛保养起来实在是太麻烦了！
3，我把《绝望的主妇》第三季也看完了。里头提到的乐队有Aerosmith和Doobie Brothers......

本期FAX提到了Alice Cooper的巡演、Aerosmith跳槽、Motley Crue签约、Gun N' Roses的Izzy Stradlin突然宣布离队、David Bowie提名进入摇滚名人祠堂等。
本期MTV排行榜第一是Bryan Adams的Everything I Do (I Do It For You)。3、4名都是U2。

话说重金属音乐Part15，讲Kingdom Come、Blue Blud、The Beyond（英国乐队）、Helloween。
张磊这篇Mark Knopfler写得很好玩。一开始提到他在1985年就有David Bowie的唱片了，但那时最喜欢的是simon & garfunkel, Joan Baez, peter paul mary......然后在1987年第一次买到Dire Straits的盒带，从此就爱上了Dire Straits，把民谣抛脑后了......另外提到Dire Straits当时的鼓手是和Sting及Peter Gabriel合作过的。
王海鹰欧美也写得挺多。《关于音乐的思考》首次提到《The Wall》电影、《麦田守望者》之类。
《Zen & Rock》是写Robert Plant个人专辑《Zen & Now》的。
